Good thoughts for my neighbours puppy

Tonight when we took Pepsi and Charlie out for their walk, we bumped into a neighbour who has 2 jack russells. Lexi is about 3 yrs old and they just got a new wee puppy. He is 16 wks old. I asked her how her dogs were doing, as I always do when I meet her, and she told me that the puppy had a bad accident and wasn't doing too well She lives in a 2nd story appartment and the puppy fell out the window onto the ground. She was out of the house, baby sitting for a relative, and when she came home, the pup was lying on the ground. She thought he was dead....She picked him up and rushed him to the emergency vet. He has 2 broken front legs and his paws are all smashed up. He also has injured his back pretty badly. She was distraught. She didn't realise when she left the house that she had left a side window partly open, and she doesn't crate the pup. She was out of the house for about 2 hours, and doesn't know how long the pup lay for before she got home. He has to have his paws re-bandaged every 4 days, and it'll be a long time until he can walk again...

Its really sad. Please can you all spare a wee prayer for the puppy and for my neighbour.

thanks

Anne
