Gross

After moving I unpacked some boxes and one box had Jack's treats and things in it. Mind you this box is less then a month packed. Here is what I found :

Green wet and soooo gross Solid gold Treats. After researching it a bit on the net I saw there was a recall. But they have been recalling a lot. I'm concerned.

I understand that Solid Gold recalled their Tiny Tot Treats due to mold but I would assume, like any other natural food product, like bread for example, would mold after a period of time. I usually keep my jerky type treats in the fridge so they last longer.

According to their webiste this bag is the moldy lot.

What concenrs ne is they had had a lot of recall. They use the Diamond Plant for production...that's where all the trouble came from with the big recalls.

It might be a problem with the equipment used for extrusion. When we lived in TX, Natural Balance had a problem with it for a little while, and a few bags of the Duck & Potato treats that we bought had mold in them. Once they got it straightened out, it was fine. It doesn't sound like an ingredient sourcing issue -- maybe packaging or baking.

I agree! I am assuming that it wasn't open when you packed it that caused the mold.
