Guy Fawlks night

Hope you guys don't mind me hopping on here. I'm no technical photographer - just a point and shooter with a basic camera, but sometimes I take one I really like!
We went to a bonfire and fireworks party on Guy Fawlks night and I took some shots - I really like this one. Took better ones of the fireworks display, but this one captures the atmosphere best, and I like the way the silhouettes of the spectators are outlined by the glow from the bonfire.
Thought I'd share..

Very nice.

We don't celebrate Guy Fawlks here in North America, but I am familiar with the celebration.

Nice shot Megi.

I'm just getting into night time photography, did some shots on Bonfire Night myself, took my tripod and should have used it really, but there were too many people. I've since got a remote shutter release too, which I've been having a play with over the Christmas holiday and it really does make a difference.

I like this one, but you can see some shake.

I shot this one on a low shutter speed but used the remote shutter release, was surprised what a difference it made!
