I picked up Hank, who was formerly know as the Large, Black Male Lab at the Cochocton County Ohio Dog Shelter along with Hope and Bella. I am now asking for some help with getting Hank placed into either a Rescue or Forever Home. I am not a Rescue. I only step in and help foster or transport when someone asks.

Hank is approximately 2 years old, if that. If someone is looking to adopt a lab but doesn't want to deal with a puppy but wants a younger guy this is the guy for you. Hank has a medium energy level. He is housebroken and does not chew on anything that is not his. Hank does not like to be in a crate but I have not had any problems with him in the house so that is OK. Hank gets along great with all of the dogs in the house, 1 mini doxie, 1 standard doxie, 1 medium lab/mix and 1 large lab. I had Hank neutered last week and he is up to date on all of his shots. He is just a real sweet heart.

Hank has a bit of a crush on my standard doxie, Layla!

Like I said before I will help anyone out that needs help but I am not a rescue.

Girl- I know what you are up to. The OP has helped pull many labs in the nick of time and got them to safety. Please contact her for more info and let me know if I can help. Oh isnt that far for me,lol

I'm still working on Hank and Hope. I am going to get Hank around some cats tomorrow so I can report on how he does. (I should probably have someone tape me for a youtube video.) I had a great lead but after some soul searching they have declined, which I very much understand. So I'll keep plugging away with him and Hope.

Still looking for some help with Hank and Hope. If someone who has a rescue or is affiliated with a rescue wants to post them on their site I would be most appreciative and I can keep fostering them. I will be traveling this week so please email me if you can give me some help. I've already taken care of their vetting. Just need some help in getting them into forever homes. Unfortunately did not get to test Hank with cats yet.
