Huge knot on Chewy

Okay so today from the park I found a Huge knot between Chewy's should blade. He has the same energy and wants to play and run. He has full range of motion on all 4 feet and head. He even lays on his back for belly rubs. I am freaking out and the vet isn't open. I hope he is okay and feel so bad. Well wish me luck and some good thoughts for chewy.

Or have you applied a topical flea & tick product within the last week?

He got his rabies on sep 21 st. and before that he got chip'd and I think last set of shots on that day as well. I called the vet and they can't get him in until tomarrow unless they get a cancellation. Have any of you out there had the same issue.

Doesn't sound likely to have been the inoculations from that long ago if you just noticed the lump.

How about the flea and tick topical application?

He is actually due for his next one today. Using frontline and have been since we got him. He has full range of motion from head to toe. =( man this sucks. I keep thinking I hear the phone ring waiting for the vet to call.

I'm out of ideas....but I'd hold off on today's FrontLine until after talking to the vet.

Good luck.

Updated Chewy's back from vet

So its just an absess that was caused from getting chiped (they think but could be from playing with other dogs or our cat got him). So its med and rest and back for a checkup in 10 days. I am sooo relieved my boy is okay.
