By kennel, what do you mean? A crate, a box kennel?
Have any of you hunters had the issue of having a dog kennel being stolen while out hunting? Bacon's kennel sits in the back of our open pickup bed. Any tips on securing it so it cant easily be stolen while we hunt?

Ratchet straps might work.

How about a bike chain through the grate?
Or would the crate fit inside the cab while your not in it?

He slept in the sink for years, silly boy.

Best solution is a lockable camper shell. Straps can be easily cut.
