Hard to picture those helpless looking little bundles turning into hunting companions like Belle! Congratulations!

Dez Young closed every episode of Hunting with Hank with...
'Never, ever spoil your bird dog'. Good advice.
“I'm getting to be a big girl. 16 weeks old. We went for a walk in the woods. I love being off leash. Found lots of raisins. I ate some. Tasted like deer poo. Oops it was deer poo. Got a couple ticks on me. YUCK! But my collar sent them packin'.
Can we go again real soon? I promise not to eat raisins.”

Took Gracie to opening day at Churchie’s Kennel and Gun Dog Training’s new facility in Barnstead. NH on Saturday.
We took a woods walk when we got there and flushed a partridge.
Later in the morning Gracie met Steve. He had a warm dead chukka just shot by another steady to flush trainee.
Gracie is17 weeks old and has never seen or smelled a dead bird.
No hesitation. I love this dog!

I nicknamed Gracie 'Paddles'
I love to watch these dogs doing what they are bred to do! I’m not a hunter but boy my girl would LOVE to do what your girl is doing!
