    Can't believe the weather

Our winter was 3 days long so far. We have not got a lick of snow on the ground and have been out training in our Fall jackets. If it rains it rains during the night and the next morning is cool but sunny. Today put out a chinc drill with 7 piles and M ran it like a champion. The only thing right now is she doesn't want to sit so I have been sending her from a stand. Tomorrow we will do some marks. My husband is starting to cut next seasons wood so I have a tree I want him to take out. With it gone it will open up the area between the two back fields and we will be able to get some more nice long marks. This time last year we had a good 3 feet of snow and storm after storm. It was really cold as well. This is a bonus for us as it will make the rest of the winter really short. The last time I can remember a green Christmas was just shortly after we built. It had to be around 1990.

Yeah yesterday we broke the record high of 58 from 1911. Of course I'm laid up with pneumonia and can't even enjoy.....anything.

I know! i'm afraid to say anything... looked back at some pictures i took this time last year, gosh, what a switch! we were out last week, and scheduled to meet up again tomorrow for some field work. Last week i was shedding layers, it was so warm!

Here we are on November 14 last year, camping in the snow at a trial! this year, we're going for walks with a 3 season jacket and normal walking boots, not snow gear!

I'm pretty happy with the 65 and sunny right now. I just hope we don't pay for it later!

Been almost record highs here too. OK with me. I don't mind a little snow but some years are ridiculous. More rain than normal, more muddy paws than normal, more foggy mornings and days but sure like the high 50's.
