    Working on our WC

Our lab club is sponsoring a WC in a few months. I just got Jack to pick up ducks...very exciting. Jagger's finally swimming, so I can't imagine problems with him. So today I was working with Jack, and Jed and Grizz were so jealous that now THEY can get birds too. I'll be practicing with them some more, but it might be pretty exciting to be running 4 dogs this summer. If they do well, I really want to start looking into UKC hunt tests.

Truly sounds like fun. My hats off to you running 4 dogs. Amazing to me to have control and show guidance through commands with one, let alone 4. Truly hope you update.

Wishing you and your boys all the luck.

WC's are super fun! You won't have any trouble running 4.
All of my adult girls have one, it's not much, but it does show they still have instinct!

Just so you know, that doesn't mean running 4 dogs at the same time. In all hunting tests, it's one at a time.

Thanks Sue. Appreciate you giving me some insight on the hunting tests. I guess it would be logical as you are testing each dog to see if they pass.

wooHoo! i love that the other boys get jealous and then dive right in so they can play too!
That was the goal for Mr Scout this year, however, we've missed all the training courses this spring...so hopefully an eight year old will be agile enough next year to do it!
