Eukanuba is a branch of Iams. Both are made and owned by the same people - Proctor and Gamble. Eukanuba is supposed to be a little better quality than Iams - but I personally don't like the ingredients in either and would not feed either, especially since P&G bought out the Iams company. P&G had lowered the foods quality and ingredients, that is why a few years ago the food started to show up *every where*. The food isn't as good as its cracked up to be, especially since P&G bought them out.

If your dog does well on Iams or Euk., so be it. Continue to feed it. I've never fed the food and nor will I ever start to feed it though.

We feed our dogs Eukanuba in the morning and a mixture of raw meat, bones and vegies at night. The Eukanuba came highly recommended down here. I know some dog handlers and they tested a variety of dog food and Eukanuba came out on top. The next one was a food only found in Aus called Bonnie. I think it has been bought out by Purina but they have kept the recipe the same. It's made of Kangaroo meat which is ment to be a very low fat meat, and it's not made of food that is unfit for human consumption like most other brands. I think people recommend Eukanuba cause it has everything that your pup or dog should have in their diet and there is no real need to feed them anything else but our dogs seem to get bored with just biscuits every day!

I have tried mine on Science Diet, Innova, and Eukanuba. Out of all three, my girls appear to do better in everyway with Eukanuba.
