Intermediate Agility Class...

...here we come!

There are four class levels at the training facility, so I did the Intro class with Hailey and was working with Jordyn at home in effort to keep the dogs at a similar level. Jordyn tested out of the Intro class last week and got the all clear from the vet today to continue agility training. Now both girls will be training at the Intermediate Level. Yay!

Now if only I can find some cheap contact obstacles, .

Check with your local training facility - ours just put some older equipment up for auction...(I didn't win the teeter auction)...so I've been looking on-line -
Found this teeter base, and it looks workable...any comments?

I had originally planned on using a PVC base, but then was turned off when many informed me a pvc base would not be suitable for a larger breed. I actually Pm'd Max's mom for info on her homemade teeter which she posted pictures of in another thread (posted below) which was exactly what I was looking for. We even bought some of the materials but ended up using them to build other mini obstacles, go figure. I do need something though, because the facility is almost an hour away and its hard to get down there to train on our days we dont have class.

I just followed that link, the one made by the lab board member is SWEET. But man oh man oh man, that PVC one is the most rickety heap I've ever seen! Wood is much cheaper also I'm sure.
