Lab Weight?

Hey Everyone

New here, but have a question I'm sure you've all answered a hundred times.

Our lab puppy had some issues when we first brought him home at almost 8 weeks. We continued on the food the breeder was giving him (Eagle Pack Large Breed) as she said all the pups were doing well on it (later we looked back at pictures from the breeder and realized he really wasn't). We almost had to hand/force feed him each day kibble by kibble- wet or dry. We took him into the vet at 9 weeks and he agreed he was quite underweight. He suggested we switch him immediately to a regular breed food to increase the number of calories he was getting when he did eat. We stayed with the same brand hoping for as little disruption to his system as possible, but it was the same thing. We tried and tried and eventually switched him to Canadian Naturals (an all breed all ages food- I know gasp, but he actually eats it for once like a real lab should!!) So he didn't really start getting proper food until about 10.5 weeks. He's now still skinny (as all the food he eats is still going to the actual growing that he's doing) but no where near as bad as it was. He's 14 weeks and 2 days now and weighs in at 21lbs. We feed him nearly 3 cups a day over 3 feedings a day (poop is still runny a bit with the amount his tummy is trying to fit in there).

So the question is: how much did your pup way at 14 weeks? We want to know how far behind he is still.

Extra info: He comes from field trial lines with the Dam weighing in at 65lbs and the sire in at 70lbs in athletic shape.

Thanks for any help you can give!

Here's some pics of our little guy Porter (named for a skydiving airplane as both myself and my boyfriend are skydiving instructors):
