Talking A nice walk on a warm and sunny November day

It's been a long time since we've taken a long(ish) walk. I didn't dare walk Cookie for longer than two hours, so our regular long walks were around 4-5 kilometers (3 miles) long.

Well, today we walked 8 kilometers (5 miles) which was about 3 hours (with the photoshooting). Cookie did great. He was unstoppable.

He found a puddle and had to dive in.

He obviously misses the fountain, which is now closed for winter.

The weather was warm and sunny, so many people were enjoying the day with their children and dogs.

Cookie made many new friends, that is, much younger pups who wanted to play with him. You can tell he was a bit annoyed.

    But generally, he was happy.

    Because he is Cookie

We both had a great time

Thank you He is back, at least in spirit. He walks with a slight limp however, which is not due to pain, but due to the fact that the FHO leg is shorter, and still weaker. His physical therapist said that she expects a 80-90% recovery (she also said that she'd like to be surprised and see a 100% recovery, but she doubts that). We are currently at 60%. I am hopeful, but I wouldn't mind if he stays the way he is now. We cannot do the crazy things we did when he was younger/before the accident, but we can still enjoy our long walks and swims. He is 10 1/2 years old, so I have to be realistic in my expectations

Gosh, I can't even pick a favourite from that bunch of photos, they are all so nice. Well, maybe the one where he's shaking off water, good catch on the water droplets. Did you use Burst for that?

Thank you! Nope, no special effects on that one. Just some minor edits (brightness and stuff).
