    The Ghost Returns

    Aye Mates,
LEXIE BELLE ON THE COBBLE - aka "THE GHOST" is back for training and will be working with me until the end o' September. The lass is bigger and bolder having matured both physically and developmentally since returning home to hunt last fall. I visualize great gains being made o'er the next several months for LEXIE and her journey toward becoming a competent gun dog. LEX is much more focused and is anxious to work. Together again for nearly one week, her demonstrated obedience is solid and should translate into significant expansion of her current skill sets made relative to overall field performance. We will be concentrating on marking, working with lots o' live birds, land retrieves, water retrieves, solid tracking skills, refined delivery, steadying to wing, shot, and fall, quartering and tracking, recovery of cripples, and campaign efforts at the started retriever and junior hunter levels. I am happy to be working with this beautiful retriever once again and look forward to watching her thrive.

    Cheers,
    THE DOG WHISTLER☘️

Oddly I thought of Lexie Belle this evening but not for a reason you'd think. There's a strip club (their term, not mine) who has an ad in a local "alternative" newspaper and their featured performer is an "adult film star" named Lexi Belle.

    Anyway...

Your Lexie is certainly a lovely girl and apparently has the smarts to go with her looks.
