    I can't see the trick! Maybe you have your privacy settings so only friends can see it or something like that.

    I'm thinking that might be a smart adaptation to avoid something that hurts her when she goes up the normal way.

    It was. she hurt her back paw (twice in January), avoided steps like the plague. Now, she alternates between walking up normally and doing this. Only on the deck.

    Aww, poor girl. My sister's dog would do that, he had a phobia about stairs and hardwood floors. If he absolutely had to get past them he would often go backwards. We never got a video though, so thank you for showing this.
