    Dad, it's hhhooootttttttt!

We've gone from 60's to 90's and humid in 3 days, and Brooks ain't liken it!

I'll hang here in the shade.

OK, this shade is pretty good too!

Yes, my recall is good even in this miserable heat!

And while Brooks was hiding in the shade, Sophie was basking in the sun!

That just hit here. I had to pop in the window AC units for Nikki and Zo but Fran thinks it's great. Too funny.

Ours are already not happy with their walks...I don't think they'd agree to go out the door if we didn't have cooling jackets.

Archie feels just like Brooks, he does not want to stay outside. I filled up his little pool and he has made good use of it. This evening we are having a drastic change in temp, has dropped at least 15-20 degrees in a couple of hours.

Sarah really enjoys sunbathing too but these past couple of days have been very hot that she doesn't want to be out to long unless she is in the shade. We did drop temps yesterday quickly thought we might have storms come through but still no rain. Ginger loves the heat too but this has been a little to much for her going from 70's right to 90's we are supposed to cool off again this weekend.

We have really flaky weather here, but on average, we can have a 40 to 50 degree temperature swing in a day. It can be 55 degrees at night and hit triple digits by 2 in the afternoon, then after about the time the sun dips over the western Sierras, it cools off really quickly. It's just that in Spring, we don't have any consistent trends. I have all my summer T-shirts and shorts out, but also turtle-necks, sweaters and fleece vests. At our Double header HT, I wore shorts and T shirts the first two days, then jeans under insulated carhart coveralls with a heavy fleece lined hooded sweatshirt, and heavy gloves. Nevada!
