    Brooks Snow Retreive

The drive that Brooks exhibits when he is sent on a marked retrieve never ceases to amaze me. These were very short marks that I set up just to experiment with my camera. I'd been having some issue with these types of shots being slightly out of focus, and I think I've finally figured it out. I shot 9 or 10 total retrieves, this was one of the first couple. You can see the intensity on Brooks face, totally focused on the Dokken, however his speed and the snow on the ground caused him to overshoot the mark. He did learn to compensate and the other retrieves were completed like normal..

Full disclosure: The pic below was not part of this sequence, I just liked it and put it in this spot.

I have to thank my DW for helping me with taking these pics, it was about 15F not counting wind chill!

Love the overshoot! To me that just means he's loving what he's doing and showing lots of excitement. So handsome!

    Barry,
I love the 2nd image with BROOKS extended like he is about to do a dynamic water entry. He's looking grand.👍
