They are so cute! Sorry about the breakdown. Will it take long to get it fixed?

You know, we really do need a picture of you too.

I had heat again by 1:30 in the afternoon. Our HVAC company is really good. My call to them was at 3 in the morning when I woke up with a really cold face (I'd gone to bed feeling chilly but that's just sometimes normal for me and I hadn't thought twice about it.). Their answering service promised a call back after 7...they called about 7:15. Someone was going to be out around 11...he arrived shortly after 9. He took my fan motor housing back to the shop...had to check and see if they had a motor in stock or had to get one locally. They'd work on it there and then just be able to slip it back into place on a second trip. The office called and promised he'd be back between 1 and 5. He showed up at 1:15.

I think he just felt sorry for the dogs...and maybe me in that onesie that you won't be seeing.

Glad you have heat back. We did not lose ours entirely but it would only come up to about 16C (~65F) and that felt pretty cool when it was -20C outside, or lower. We need bigger diameter air intake and exhaust pipes but a temporary fix was to change the setting on how fast the furnace would rev. up. It used to come on fast, with a roar. Now it takes longer to get up to heat but it is so much quieter. We've decided we like it better this way but probably the pipes should be changed anyway.

Danny and Sunny look like they're in matching pajamas. Very cute! Your heating people sound more responsive than ours, maybe I should switch. But that would depend upon you having oil heat rather than something else...

    We're all electric.

We've been with them ever since our first heat pump went up on us many years ago and have been satisfied all along. The men who come out are really nice and all have appreciated our various dogs...that counts for a lot with me (as long as the skills are there).
