After a week of going back to crate training 101 with Brooks, he is now comfortable with the new box. If fits nicely in the back of the Highlander, and I can use the back seats of needed with the crate installed. It sits very close to the rear door, so I purchased a ramp for the dogs to load and unload. I may keep the back seats folded down, and move the box forward to make it easier for them to just jump in, and move the box when I need to use the back seats. I did end up removing the divider, as I think it's just a tad small for Brooks. I can easily put it back when I need to take both dogs, only takes a couple minutes to install.

It is very nice. I did look it up from the link you put on your last thread about it, not made for my vehicle.

Very nice!
While not that crate but the regular wire crate. I do the same thing. Twice a week I need the back seats to pick up the grans from school so the ramp is in the house and the crate is sideways in the back, door facing out. Great holder of groceries, no rolling around, nothing popping out when the back door is opened.

I have one as well. These crates are made to be up against a row of seats for safety purposes (but not the front seats). You might want to reach out to TransK9 before you decide to make any changes to your set-up. Perhaps there is a workaround? Would hate to see you compromise your safety or your dogs' safety.
Mine also sits not too far from the bumper but the dogs just hop inside from the ground (not a high car) with no issues and my cage is a bit smaller than yours. Sam is not a huge fan, so I open both sides for him. Linus is an old pro though. I got the bumper guard to spare my bumper but also for better traction if they needed it.

It looks smart! and really good for any reason you may have to take your dog in to the vet!

Nice set up. I find it funny, not odd, but just funny how you said well I can just leave the seats down. Hemi has the entire Back seat on my F150, it is set up just for him and he is the only passenger, if more than 2 people want to go in my truck I just say nope my truck is a 2 seater.
