TRAD - "Moving In For The Flush"

    Aye Mates,

Having worked the scent layed down by a wily rooster pheasant, me gun dog TRAD moves in for the flush. Steady to wing, shot, and fall, he will immediately sit upon the flush and mark the bird visually until it has been shot and fallen back to the ground. TRAD will remain seated until released by command to make the retrieve and will then fetch the bird from cover and deliver it to hand in classic style.

I did a training day with the First State Retriever Club yesterday, and I don't know there is anything I enjoy more than watching gundogs work. It's truly a thing of beauty.
