Maci is adorable. My very first thought was Beagle...the shape of the top of the head and those adorable ears! Have fun with her.

When we first got her we were thinking viszla or Weimaraner? Anyone see that? She’s short and only 42 lbs though.

She's got the same look to her face and eyes that my super-smart Danny has (though with his mama's snipier muzzle and smaller ears). (Dan's siblings were all squarer-jawed and floppy-eared.)

Go to WisdomPanel.com....they have a gallery of pictures that people are allowed to post after they get their DNA results. You can search under any breed and see what the DNA test results are for each dog. (I had mine done twice because their algorithms expanded....unfortunately, the gallery shows the earlier results which included fewer breeds.)
Maci could easily have lots of breeds in her. When I first saw Sunnie, I thought she was a Lab/Australian Shepherd mix....didn't even consider other breeds. The result shows 1/2-Lab, 1/4-Standard Poodle, Husky, Aussie, Viszla, Blue Tick Coonhound, and too many other breeds to list. (Dan's is 1/4-Beagle, Aussie, Husky, American Foxhound, Harrier, and too many other breeds. I thought it was interesting that Sunnie's overload of Lab and Poodle showed up so diluted in Dan. Wisdom Panel even ran their second test twice to confirm the results....said sometimes results are "special" like this. I liken it to when someone's kid looks like no one else in the family except for an uncle three generations back.) I can detect traces of all of their named breeds in these two....although you don't immediately see the Poodle, the head shape....I've compared Sunnie to a Poodle in the vet waiting room after the other dog's owner remarked on the resemblance....and the extreme sensitivity point to that breed.
Oh....and even with those bigger breeds, Sunnie and Danny are only 42 lbs. and 37 lbs., respectively. Dan was the second smallest of the pups at birth and their projected weights were all within 5 lbs. of each other as of their weights at 7 weeks. I'm betting a DNA test would surprise you with more varied results than you imagine.

She is beautiful, looks alot like my oldest sons dog. Yes, both my sons and I all now have labs. Getting together is going to be fun fun fun.
Be careful not to walk her for too long with those stitches in. Is she fitted with an e-collar or similar? No jumping whatsoever, avoid stairs and climbing, and she should be good to go in a very short period of time.

Thank you! We only walk to the end of the block and back. Just to get her a bit of excercise. Lots of chews at home in her bed. We have an old cone collar that she hates but she will wear it in her crate when we can’t supervise her. She has 4 stairs to walk down to go outside. We take it very slowly. Vet and foster mom said it’s ok to do a few stairs only to get outside. But definitely not going down to the basement. That’s about 10-12 more with a turn at the bottom. This will be ok?

I never heard of embark. I actually had WP recommended to me by a lot of folks before I did it and found a good number of people since who've used them....all happy with the results. At the time, my vet said that, even though she wasn't 100% sure of the technology, WP was the one that seemed most reliable.
