Aye Mates,

I captured this portraiture of PEARL, a fantastic Labrador Retriever gun dog, as she was hunting with us along the rugged Maine coast on frigid Atlantic waters yesterday morning. A high intensity working dog, PEARL sat strategically positioned on the transom of the boat and watched with laser-like precision for the approach of birds toward our decoy spread. T'is a true joy to watch PEARL at work on the water. PEARL is owned by me good Mate, Captain Troy Fields, Maine Master Guide.

Thanks Mate. Birds were scarce with the exception of Old Squaw. We did scratch a couple of Eider. We had a great. time on the water.
