    Somebody is becoming more comfortable

Ovie has been taking big strides it seems each day. Becoming more trusting and unfortunately like a 2 year old lab. We are minus a couple of magazines and for some reason he thought that dog bed was better than the 10 chew toys on the floor.

    Thanks Everyone!!

That's so cute when somebody else's dog does it.

Settling in: Sunnie didn't utter a sound for over three years after we got her (except for one growl at a puppy nearing her elbow when she was eating...and she proved to NOT be food guarder). We thought she was defective (I actually asked the vet one time if she could have been debarked). But once she got the hang of it, she's a serious barker: for noises, yes, but also when she has to bark me along as I get dressed for walkies (she hears "the magic pants" being pulled up...denim...and gets way too excited), at Dan when she wants to play, at Dan for seemingly no reason, etc. And now that she's getting (gotten?) senile, non-stop sometimes just for the heck of it. I miss those first three years...especially since Dan's inner Beagle is getting barkier, too. And howlier. I confess to loving his howls, though.

You're lucky it wasn't the sofa! He's a cute one and an instigator! Looks like he is settling in just fine.
