just love this

That's hilarious. Poor Hemi. If it makes him feel better though, Opie's lost his thingies too.

Hi Jeff, what a cool story! I'm also going to say that I understand what you're saying about getting him neutered. Fletcher was also done (also did not share) and I think it was much worse for me than for him!
must say the undies was hilarious!

Hemi, you are truly one of a kind!!!! Great pics!!!!

Too funny.
Now....since we now know what you wear, make sure you let us know the first time you're walking around in your undies and Hemi decides to de-pants you. (no pictures necessary)

Awe Hemi! I was wondering what you decided with this. I am glad everything is better now and Hemi was able to make you laugh about it :*) the underwear is a clever idea, too funny!
I know what you mean about being torn. I felt so awful for Charlie. We were in the same boat, he thrives on adventure, hanging with his buddies, running through fields or at the beach, going to classes etc. He's social and we live in tourist towns with lots to do...and once his hormones started to kick in he was hard to control, pulling all the time to mark everything, distracted, classes were more a burden to get through just to make him more tolerable/manageable, but I would make myself sick before class being so anxious for what he might do. He was so distracted and I think he was really miserable. It was hard. So I was totally looking forward to neutering him and counted down the days. Then once we did it, I felt so awful about it! He was so sad! His tail tucked between his legs like I had never seen before. This look on his face like, something was missing but he couldn't do anything about it. I just felt so bad. Even now I still feel guilty because I can tell he is less muscular than he was, he has slowed down since, and he is still confident but less alpha which is a different dynamic for him around other dogs.
I am glad I did it though. He is much happier and I am much happier. And we aren't limited.
So far, with Burton, I don't feel that way at all. He is so good I could probably leave him intact like a lot of people here say, they don't notice much with an intact dog, just to be careful with them you know. Charlie and Burton are so different. I wouldn't neuter B if I didn't have to.
I look forward to hearing more about Hemi and how he is doing back in training and out on the town now that he is able to focus on you :*) Always enjoy your posts!
Charlie and Burton
