What a beautiful girl! Great pictures.

I made DH's camos last as long as possible. They're fantastic. And, he keeps a chrome dome too, though nature did most of it for him.

Adorable! It's amazing how the camera was able to capture photos that seem to be taken over a few years instead of a day! One thing in all the photos that remains unchanged is her sweetness!!

That's exactly what surprised me so much. At first I didn't really notice as all I could see were the great pics (of course it wasn't me behind the camera ), but then when I'd spent some more time looking at them, I noticed that Mel looked like three different pups, or one whose pics were set apart by some time span. Really interesting what a different angle and different light can do with someone's photograph, so I named this thread what I called it: Another Sunday morning walk with "THREE DIFFERENT DOGS"

Did you get a new camera, or you met a photographer who you inspired? Love her look on #1.

Actually, it's the same guy who took the pics I posted here a few weeks ago. Met him again; he was going to take some more pictures of sunrise, so he took a few more photographs of the two of us. He's a nice guy, a dog person, has a dog too and loves Mel, which doesn't surprise me . He's got something that, at least to me, looks like professional gear and I'm sure that it was pretty pricey.

Truly stunning photos! It's not easy getting quality photos of black labs so both the photographer and his equipment must be pretty good. Of course, great subject matter to work with. Glad you enjoyed the outing.

It was a lot of fun and he's really good; does everything the way it "should" be: no editing, tweaking, no Photoshop, just the camera, lenses and a good eye. Of course, Mel looks great and she's a born model, beautiful and talented, and I really wanted to have some pics with her, so I finally decided to appear in front of the camera, which is something I really hate - having my picture taken
