TEAM TRAD - Autumn Pheasant

[IRISHWISTLER]

TEAM TRAD enjoyed a pheasant hunt with friends on 10/24/14 the first anniversary of TRAD and Irishwhistler joining forces. Intensive training over the last year has turned TRAD into a gundog of extraordinary abilities.


TEAM TRAD celebrated their first year together with TRAD making flush of eight pheasant, five of which were taken and subsequently retrieved by TRAD. My gunning partners were amazed as TRAD remained completely "steady to wing and shot" and doing so until being released to make the retrieve by my calling his name. I vary the amount of time delay continually after TRAD has visually "marked" a downed bird. This technique adds to TRAD remaininging steady until released, and to his style and drive whence released to make the retrieve. All birds are delivered to hand in classic style. To date, TRAD has 21 pheasant retrieved to hand this season, his "first year".


TTF CRAIGHORN KIFFIN TRAD JH, the precocious wee pup just one year ago, now a virtual "bird hunting machine". TEAM TRAD has come a long way during our first year of working together, yet we still have much more to accomplish with diligent training along the way. Together, we enjoy that journey each day.
