Super Hemi,

In the endless reaches of the universe, there once existed a place known as Michigan, a place that burned like a green star in the distant heavens, perhaps that was lake Eerie on fire. Their civilization was far advanced and it brought forth a race of "super Hemis," whose mental and physical powers were developed to the absolute peak of doggy perfection. But there came a day when giant snow drifts threatened to destroy Michigan forever. One of the state leading scientists, sensing the approach of doom, placed his infant lab pup in a small rocket ship and sent it hurtling in the direction of Grand Rapids just as Detroit exploded. The rocket ship sped through star-studded space, landing safely on Earth with its precious burden: Super Hemis sole survivor. A passing motorist, Jeff, found the uninjured pup and took it home. As the years went by and the child grew to maturity, he found himself possessed of amazing physical powers. Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. The infant pup of detroit is now the Dog of Steel: Super Hemi! To best be in a position to use his amazing powers in a never-ending battle for truth and justice, Super Hemi has assumed the disguise of Bark Kent, mild-mannered reporter for a great metropolitan newspaper.

The S H could also stand for my pet name for him Poop Head, however I use a word that means poop but starts with an S.

So fast he is blurry

I have come to reclaim the treats that were stolen from the treat bag. Hand them over before I rough you up.

It's just me dad, don't worry. I still would like a treat though.

This took a lot longer to make than I thought and I had to make a couple pieces twice. Also, not quite as perfect as I imagined. However we had a lot of fun making it and testing it. Hemi watched everything I did and helped a lot. The Shiny cape material and head material while said it was iron save melted when applying some of the iron on decals. Also one eye hole is bigger than the other. Not sure how it ended up that way I think it is the black I put around it wasn't quite tight in there when I sewed it on, but Hemi don't mind. He will love to see the kids tomorrow at the door.

Great costume! Is that glow in the dark tape on his socks? I don't think Murphy would walk around in socks. I could see him pulling them off with his teeth. Good job Hemi!
