All the costume threads are cracking me up, so I had to share mine!
I looked and looked for a Thor costume for my Thor, but couldn't find one big enough for a lab and didn't have enough time to build one from scratch. I stopped by Target yesterday to grab some Halloween candy and found this alternate. He's thrilled, as you can see.
I'm hoping the costume distracts him enough tonight that he won't want to be best friends with every kid that comes to the door (we're still working on his greeting people behavior...)

LOL love it and yeah they never make costumes big enough. But Thor looks awesome. Good luck with keeping him from wanting to greet everyone. Never works for me
What a cute little football player!

too cute
I even carved a Thor pumpkin.
My Thor management technique was to toss a treat into the backyard every time the doorbell rang. It took him about as long to find the treat and come back as it did for me to hand out candy. By the end of the night he was running out there automatically every time the doorbell rang! Not the exact behavior I'm looking for, but with just me home and not wanting to lock him up in a room or his crate all night, it worked.
