I hear that! If Sunshine is in my single bed before I am, she curls up in the middle, head on the pillow. I'll come in and say time to go snoozing. She will give a BIG stretch and pick her head up to look at me, then plop it back down on the pillow. I'll get ready and tell her to either move over or get down. I get another stretch, but this time the BIG SIGH also. For some reason, I actually feel guilty making her get up so I can get in bed!

I've tried getting in and body pushing her over. She lays there like a lump. When I finally get enough room, she will get up, stare at me for a few seconds and hop down on the floor to sleep!

I had to go dig up a picture i sent my husband a few weeks ago. He was traveling for work and made an offhand comment about how much room I must be enjoying in the bed with him gone. I told him that it didn't work that way and sent him this very technical diagram.

Cooper slept in his crate in my daughters room until he was about two. Now he sleeps in my daughters bed with her, well we had to build a bed for Cooper beside my daughters bed that was the same height so they could sleep together. If my daughter is away or had friends over, Cooper sleeps with my son and during the week if I have a day off, he comes in the morning to join me while the others get ready for school and work. It never was intended for him to sleep in our beds with us, but just like our hearts, he has managed to wiggle his way onto our beds

Here he is lounging on our bed.....

When I adopted Ram I swore the same thing. It's funny how the more you love them the more you realize furniture is just stuff.

Daisy is pretty spoiled and has slept on the bed with me since she was about a year old. Love cuddling with her. I'm traveling with family now so she sleeps in the kennel at relatives houses- and I definitely sleep better with her cuddling up with me.

What a pretty photo, color co-ordinated bed linen with a flower pattern to match her name. She definitely looks like she knows this is her bed.

Levi usually sleeps in his crate, but sometimes we let him sleep at our feet.
