    Sophie

I was watching the Today Show this morning while they introduced the Lab puppy they will be helping raise for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. Cute little Lab puppy! While the were doing the segment, a puppy whined, and it caught Sophie's attention, and she sat and watched the rest of it. I was very surprised as she has never shown any interest in what was on the TV before!

Mocha gets distracted by the TV sometimes, too. Great picture.

Oliver watches tv all the time. Yesterday when my husband was home with him, Oliver heard a dog bark on the tv. We have surround sound and he heard which speaker the bark came from. Oliver put his ear to the speaker then looked up at the tv and then back to the speaker. My husband said it was funny.

Funny pic. Rio doesn't pay too much attention to the TV until he hears a puppy whine. Barking doesn't bother him, its the whining, wonder why that is.

You never noticed her watching TV before because this is the first time you've had a show on she likes!

Thats adorable! Bacon only pays attention if its a video of him. We were going through old videos last night and Bacon was mesmerized by Puppy Bacon

Dogs That Changed The World ~ About | Nature | PBS

Oban watched this with me last night, part one. This is the first time he hasn't jumped up and gone into the laundry room to see if that's where all the dogs are. Either he's finally figured it out or he's given up on ever finding them. LOL

The funny part was Lucy kitten who came down near the end and sat right in front of the TV and watched and listened. Then she stood up to pat the screen, up, down, left and right as animals moved. When it ended she followed the credits as they rolled up. Then a scene with heavy snowfall came on which she seemed to really enjoy, patting all over as if to catch the snow flakes. And then I turned it off and she sat for a bit then stood again to pat the blank, black screen. I think she was trying to figure out where all the fun had gone. She's so cute.

barry, is that a big LED screen? I've read they have way more pixels and dogs can see them better. Ours is old cathode ray tube but the critters have always watched it anyway, even though apparently they can really see very little on it.

LOL... That is cute. Chopper loves to watch videos of himself playing. He relives the moment and barks at the computer while he is watching.
