Funny how labs are different towards snow.
My first black gal LOVED it! We lived in NE PA and she got so excited whenever it snowed. Loved watching her RUN around with her nose buried looking for stuff. We had one storm that dropped over 3 feet of show, light and fluffy. It was fun to watch her run around in it! You would see the depression after she went, as the snow collapsed behind her. Every now and again her head would POP up, then back down to mole mode.
Moved to NC and my second black gal wanted nothing to do with it! She was around two when she saw her first snow, a few inches, and she wanted nothing to do with it! She would stand on the covered porch, sniff it and tenderly paw at it, but nothing doing with going out in it! I went out in the yard and tried to pretend to have fun, coaxing her out. She pee'd on the porch rather than go in it. I shoveled a path down to the grass for her, and even then they were quick trips until it melted. You would think she was walking on hot coals and she would hold a front foot up while going. Then RUN back on the porch and lean against the door, looking at me like I was crazy.
Sunshine? Well, what can I say. She gets excited going to the vets for shots! We got one wet snow of 3 or 4 inches and her crazy meter went past the 11 mark! It was hours before I even needed to bring up snowballs!!! The other day we had a light snow, just covered some leaves on bushes, nothing on the ground. She went WILD attacking the bushes making the snow fall!!! Yesterday we had a single front go through, where it hailed. Nothing accumulated, just you could hear it hailing and hitting the windows from inside. She went NUTS wanting to go outside!! I'd let her out and she ran around like a demented nut, head up, mouth open snapping at the air! I don't know if my standing on the porch, laughing, feeds her drive, but there is not much more I can do when watching a lab have so much fun.

You're so lucky you get snow. My dogs would LOVE it. Texas doesn't get much snow. Love the pics! Cassie looks super happy!
