    Opened the pool this weekend!



    Somebody couldn't wait 24 hours for the pool shock and chlorine treatment, so like suckers, we went to Walmart and acquired a $10 kiddie pool... extra thanks to Jeff and Hemi for the pink Jolly Ball!


    Me trying to sink the pool steps... didn't you know posing doubles your weight and makes the steps sink faster? They took FOREVER! I was praying I didn't fall in... the water was 55 degrees! It's up to 72 today. Amazing!

    Luna is a lucky lady! We put in a giant veggie garden instead of a pool If you weren't 1,200 miles away, we would totally be down for a pool party!

    Kimber would love to go to a pool party! I'm surprised upstate NY is warm enough for the pool. I grew up on Long Island and people never opened the pools until after Memorial Day.

    I keep trying to talk Crafther into an in ground pool. It's for Mochas benefit! Poor puppy has to go the river or an old pond to swim. Never mind he's not been swiming yet! And I certainly wouldn't enjoy it a bit. It's for poor, poor Mocha.
    I wish could make those sad puppy eyes! Crafther just laughs at me when I try that!

    We were going to wait until Memorial Day but the forecast looks like we won't be below freezing until then. We bought the house because of her. I will probably not go in until Memorial Day, but the earlier we open it, the earlier she can go in and swim.
