    Happy swimming dog

Yesterday we took Dudu to a nearby lake. This was our first time to visit there. When we were approaching the lake, she already saw the water. Then when we opened the car for her, she jumped out of the car immediately and ran to the water to start swimming without any hesitation! She loves water and swimming as much as how she loves to eat. We had to attached her back by treat and then put the the lifejacket on her. She is good at swimming but we still want her to wear the lifejacket for safety. Yesterday afternoon she had been swimming for one hour NONSTOP until we have to call her back and go back home. She was obviously exhausted but she never wanted to take a break. Today she has been resting all day. I guess this is because she used today's energy yesterday.

We do not know why she loves swimming so much. The first time we took her to the beach, she started swimming immediately when she was in the ocean water. It seemed that she was a born swimmer. At that time she was only 4 months old and just finished all the shots. As first time lab parents, we were and are amazed by this, even though we knew labs are good at water things.

What great fun! Love the pictures.

Glad you are using the life jacket since she is swimming so much and will get exhausted. Bet she is one quiet puppy now.
