Up until the moment Chili had a burst of energy, I had never seen such gentle slow-motion bitey-face. They certainly look well-matched and like each other.

they 2 peas in a pod. the pit mix is a rescue / sevice dog for my marine nephew. I hate how he always goes to bite my chili's elbows (reminds me of fighting dirty) but he seems to be gentle enough. he is very well trained and helps my nephew out alot when he is not travelling the country for 30days at a time on vacation...married rich has it benefits i guess. I get a playdate for chili. but my chili doggie will always be #1 in my heart.
Samson (4 yrs) and Asher (7 months) do the "bitey face". NON-STOP. It's ALL they do. Why? The only time they are not is when I separate them (by gate) or if they are sleeping. They are much louder and obnoxious than your guys. They always stick to the face and while Samson sounds extremely vicious he is extremely gentle with Asher. Even as young as Asher is, he knows the limits and doesn't bite hard. If by chance one of them whines, the other acts like a big baby and goes in for the making up asap but then they start right back up. Will this ever stop? :-) Sorry - don't mean to hijack your post....
