It Turns Out Oban is NOT a Pure Bred Lab ;)

Evidence has emerged that Oban may not be the pure bred Lab we thought he was. He appears to be, not just a mixed breed, but possibly a true hybrid - a mix of altogether different species.

Presenting the world's only known Lafrogbear.

If I remember my high school genetics correctly a cross can look entirely like one parent or another. However other breed/species characteristics may show up in behaviour. Thus Oban looks like a Labrador Retriever, lies and walks like a frog and sounds like a baby bear.
