    Mocha & Duchess playing

I was finishing the grout on our kitchen. Mocha was laying backed up to the gate. He grunted and hopped up and turned around. Duchess had slapped his butt! They started pawing at each other through the gate! It was so cute. I wish they would play together more but he is just so rough with her.

So cute. I bet they will when he is older and calm enough she's not worried he'll flatten her. Cats and dogs can be really good together. Right now I rather suspect Duchess is being a little SD.

I have a Lab and kitty that are the best of ftiends. They are so much fun to watch, I hope Mocha and Duchess become good friends some day.

I'm so glad that Duchess initiated the play! Up till now, it's been Mocha chasing and Duchess running. I hope it doesn't take another 16 months for the next breakthrough.
