    Brooks first water retrieves

Took these at our field training session this week. We had done some really short intro's to water last week, and he swam short distances, maybe 10 feet at the most. The first video we did some short retrieves to make sure he was confident swimming and he did really well. When we reset for the big dogs we did some longer retrieves with him. You can see he gets a bit tangled in the underwater grass on the second toss, but he still stayed focused enough to get the bumper and return.

Overall I thought he did a great job for the limited exposure to water and only being just over 4 months old. We also did some land retrieves and I was surprised and impressed at how well he marked the bumpers. I think he's off to a very good start.
