In his first time in the ring as a Special, Marcus went Best of Opposite 3 times and then BEST OF BREED 3 times (under Judges Thora Brown, Allan Brown, and Charlie Cyopik) at the Lakehead Kennel Club 6-show weekend, June 26-28. Owner/handled.

He's still very much a "baby" but we were ecstatic to take the top honours! I received some wonderful comments on him which only kept me floating on Cloud Nine even longer...

No Group placements, but I wasn't expecting any... when he strutted into the Group ring, it was even more obvious how young he is...

I told myself, after our third consecutive BOS win, that if he didn't take Breed at least once over the course of the weekend that I was going to put him away until he was fully mature, and then Special him... what happened next? Our first Breed win...

*Inserts foot*

I should keep my mouth shut....

Our first Best of Breed win with Judge Thora Brown.

He's 15 months old. He's from really slow maturing lines so he won't be done growing until he's 3 at least... needless to say, I'm quite impatient lol. But he's got a wonderful headpiece and movement going for him, so I can't be too picky

He looks great. nice chest on him for being 15 months and from slow maturing lines.
