My Orchid.....
My elder son bought me this Orchid for Mothers Day in March '08.
To this day it has never stopped flowering, and I just love it. Of late it has a large brown spot on one of its leaves.....any ideas what this may be. I'm also unsure as to whether I should re-pot it now....or would I be tempting fate? ![]()

Beautiful flowers. Don't know much about them but seem to remember that they like to have kinda cramped feet, a relatively small pot for their size. It may be time to repot simply to replace the medium/chips. Orchid planting medium is sold and I'm sure Home Depot has it. Is there a nursery near you that could give you some hints?

Would that be from over watering.....I normally only water every 1-2 weeks but I think I over did it a while back and had to tip some water out. It's roots are growing over the side of it's pot....but I did read they like to be pot bound....just wasn't sure 'how' potbound.
