If you have an opinion, or don't believe in drab texting (boring politically correct completly unoffensive words on a screen that will upset almost nobody) than you should not post here.

Note: you will be flamed. People will get mad and say you should not post such and such here, even though this section is called the fire hydrant for off topic posts...

I'm not bothered, it's funny, and in fact, you should think so to, so I suggest if you use this forum, you comply with all belief systems, and ideologies of whoever else is on here, because that is the way to being liked; beling like everyone else and not having your own opinion.

Is this site hosted in Utah or something?

I dont really like getting involved in these type of posts, but it kind of sounds like you dont like it that others were posting THEIR opinions to YOUR opinion.... does that mean that you can post opinions and then no one else can....

IN MY OPINION, dont post something that is "I HATE PEOPLE WHO..." and then not expect others to post their opions... this is the internet, tone doesnt always come across the right way, dont take things personal and just enjoy the support these people provide or leave!

I'm pretty sure it was HOW you said it, not what you said. If you want respectful responses, you should state your opinion respectfully. It's just good common courtesy. Many people have differing opinions here and rarely does it become a problem.

As for the reason for this thread, I do believe that every one is entitled to their opinion as you appear also to be. But, your original post seems to suggest the complete opposite. You are obviously making an attempt to get a point accross. The sad thing is that it is very hard to get past your choice of words, their presentation and tone to even begin to address the issue that you are concerned about. It is a valid point and creeps up on the board every once in a while. It will be present on pretty much any board you participate in.

You seem to be a poster who enjoys shouting their feelings with all their might which is great. Passion is a fine quality but it is not one you own outright and shouting tends to get the same consideration back. My dad always said, if you ever want to get someone's attention---whisper.

Hopefully you can find your place on this board.

Ahhhh... a thread dripping with irony... If I post a "I hate people who..." followed by a (paraphrasing here) they must be fat, skinny and emotionally damaged thread there is no way that I would expect anyone one that might fall into that category to respond. However, if they for some strange reason did respond in a humours way...Well... I would be hurt and start a new thread detailing how boring the site is without me and my hater... (er humor... sorry) posts. I would also pretend that I could shrug it off that my feelings aren't hurt when they clearly are... It's tough having a sense of humor so complicated that that common people cant wrap their overweight heads around... They must all be from Utah

The most interesting part of this thread is that the OP believes that you need to post things that aren't politically correct, are mildly offensive and will upset people in order to be heard.
