November 2009 Photo Contest!

With the Thanksgiving Holiday in the month of November in the US, Sabrina (KodahBear) has chosen the appropriate theme of "What is Your Labrador Thankful For?" for November's contest.

To paraphrase Marjorie Facklam, 'we give our Labs the time we can spare, the space we can spare, and the love we can spare; and in return they give us their all. It is without a doubt the best deal anyone has ever made.'

We are so thankful for our Labbies in our lives and how they make things better in countless ways. But, what is your Lab thankful for and how do they show it? Is it a treat? When you return home? A day hiking or at the lake? Just one more tennis ball throw? Some space on the couch? In bed? A belly rub? A scratch in just the right spot? Post your best pic of your Lab expressing appreciation - we know how expressive they are, so show us!


As always, we will periodically go through and clean things up to keep the thread streamlined for voting purposes.

Here are the guidelines we will be following:

1) You must be a fairly regular poster -- with a minimum of 100 posts -- to enter the contest. If you don't have 100 posts go to the fun forum, etc. It's easy to get 100 posts. Entries with less than 100 posts will be deleted.
2) The picture must be in keeping with the theme.
3) Only one entry per member - no series of photos.
4) No altered photos (borders or thought balloons, etc.).
5) The picture must be one that you took of your dog.
6) You must vote for someone other than yourself.
7) You may win only once in a calendar year.
8) In the event of a tie, the tie breaker will be the first picture posted chronologically.
