I switched Abbey from this food quite some time ago. She was throwing up quite often. Thank goodness I listened to my own concerns about this because even my breeder recommended this food.
I hope that they find out what the problem is!

Interesting. A little over 2 years ago we took our golden retriever off of Nutro. He was frequently vomiting up bile and had absolutely no coat. Things quickly improved once he was eating other brands.

I am a member on a Boston terrier forum and someone recently posted that her dog and her son's dog ( who live in different states) were both on Nutro for sensitive stomachs. Both dogs got very ill and one died.

Mine were on Nutro during the big dog food recall in 06. Both of my dogs got sick with vomiting and diarrhea. I rushed them to the vet and thankfully they are both ok. I stopped feeding them Nutro immediately.

I used to give Nutro to Sadie until the dog food recall of 2006. She never got sick, but I still worried about it. Since switching to CN, I have noticed a big improvement in her coat and skin in the winter time. Before she flaked alot and I was giving her fish oil caps. Since being on CN, she hasn't need any extra oil.

I'm switching the cats from this food. It has too many recalls IMO and too many complaints.

I am going to try Healthwise from Natura now.
