our family is devastated
On Nov 1, 2009 my brother-in-law made the choice to end his own life, rather forced someone else to take this life.
The media is not giving out much details but people are already talking and it is breaking my heart to know that people are calling him "crazy" "bad" and the other things they are saying.
He was a good man, a good solider, and a good father! He physically came home from Iraq 3 months ago but mentally he was unable to overcome the things he saw and did over there.
I wish this would have had a different ending and his CO had taken us seriously when we said he needed help!
He leaves behind a wife, a 5 yr old, 2 yr old and a 8 month old!
R.I.P. John and I hope you are finally able to lay your burden down. We love and miss you so much.
