My heartfelt sympathy on your devestating loss. My 26 year old nephew hanged himself 2 years ago. He served in the Balkans and Iraq. He was always a very reserved person and never discussed his thoughts and feelings, so no one really knows what caused him to take his own life.

I lost my father in a DWI car crash at 5 years old. I witnessed the accident and his death. Please take care of your niece. The lack of treatment I received at that time - many years ago when people were less mindful of psychiatric care, had devasting and life long effects.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I am so sorry; not only did he give his life, he gave his family's peace, love and hope. Suicide is so hard on the family. My prayers are with them.

I lost my father to suicide when I was 10 years old. 13 years later, it honestly still effects me everyday and it will for the rest of my life. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.
