Thanks everyone for rebooting the contest!

So this thread is to ask questions and mention things that I may have missed in reconstructing the Photo Contest area. So, let me know and we'll get it squared away.

Thanks everyone for rebooting the contest. We had a heckuva time getting reregistered and logged in and finally got it squared away this morning. I'll extend the submission deadline thru Tuesday, May 27 if I can get my Moderator powers back. Thanks!!!

I was wondering what would happen if you didn't re-register. I guess this month the 100 post count prerequisite doesn't apply since most of us are still just puppies!

We love this place and helping out with the contest. We'll have to recreate the rules and such but I think the history of the themes went down with the ship. And yes, we are all puppies again. Woulda been cool if it also had made our older labs puppies again, too. Maybe an idea for a film there???

Sue (formerly Michigal) introduced us to a very cool internet site called The Wayback machine, where you can search for, uh, well, I don't know that much about it, but you can find some of the old threads, including Woody's history of photo contest topics. So, I copied what was archived, although it's not totally up to date, and I'll put it in a new post in the Photo Contest section. Maybe you or Woody or JenC (formerly Canyon) can ptag as a stickie. I'll check first to make sure it's not already been done.

I wanted to build this as a place to discuss anything related to putting the Photo Contest Forum back together, so we wouldn't lose the info, but move it from the May contest thread.
