As others have said, well bred labradors get along with everything. I usually have 6+ intact males who hang out with each other in a paddock during the day. When I have girls in prime season, I do...

We'll be there all week!
The show is tuesday-friday.... don't show up on sunday ;)
I believe towershoot days are better than christmas to a labrador! :)

Your signature should mean something to you.... if you're not going to adhere to a contract, you shouldn't sign it. If you question something about it, you should talk to the breeder.
I too add water to everyone's food, regardless of age. If someone doesn't finish their meal, I've got bigger issues than having to clean a bowl.... I'm probably going to a vet.
I don't mind price being asked in the initial email, as long as it's not the entire content of the email ;) I respond asking them to fill out my questionnaire, which has puppy price listed on there....
A "breeder option" on an eye clearance is there is something with the dog's eye that keeps it from being "perfect" but that condition is not proven to be hereditary in that breed.
I recommend you...
Hmm.... I think a (well bred) labrador is a better choice for a family with young children than a chihuahua. When families come to visit my dogs/litters, I can see very quickly if they're a good fit...
Canine Health Information Center: CHIC Breeds
If you took the puppy knowing that the breeder required you to wait, why is there a question now? Did you not sign a contract? Vets have no continuing education requirements and often get fixated on...
Wouldn't worry me at all. If you had said puppies dies AFTER being born, I might raise an eyebrow, but most deaths at birth aren't due to the health of the baby.
I think a year apart is "ok" but I would caution you to get a puppy when YOU want one.... not because you want one for your current dog ;) If you're looking for more dog on dog time for your current...
Intact labradors are no more a pain in the butt than other breeds. The degree of their pain in the butt is an individual thing and, to some degree, what you'll accept. My boys will howl when a girl...
This is what I feed as well.

Bring them to a show ;)
The wording here really bothers me. Those who breed to be able to show conformation, breed with the standard in mind.... that standard is the blueprint of what this breed should look like so that it...
Definitely get her to YOUR vet and bring a stool sample. What are you trying to feed (brand)? Let the food soak in warm water for 10-20min, add a spoonful of wet food and serve in a crate.... give...
I simply say that if people ONLY supported RESPONSIBLE breeders, there would be no need for rescues/shelters.
Have fun!!! I'm planning on going next year and can't wait :)
If my vet mentioned ortolani sign, I'd find a new vet. Did you ask for x-rays? Is he limping? If not, I wouldn't worry about it.
I guess a chessie would be the closest, but a labrador coat truly is a distinctive feature of the breed. Sleek and shiny isn't correct, but you can see that in a gsp, doberman, greyhound, whippet,...
Trim is good. Feeling ribs like you do knuckles with a closed fist would be a very bad thing on a labrador.
The pit bull should absolutely be neutered, especially if it's same sex aggressive! Knowing it's issues, I also would never allow my dog to be around it, muzzle or not.... it's not something I'd work...
Does her being a little on the chubby side have any baring on your adopting her?? LOTS of other things to worry about..... whats her temperament like? how has she been socialized? crate/potty/leash...
He definitely looks heavier in the photoshoot pics than he does in the current pics, where he looks fine. Field people simply don't understand proper coat.... you're simply not going to see...
