What a gorgeous pup!
What a gorgeous pup!
Stormy has grown into a beautiful young lady!
Be careful with mulch eating. Cocoa bean mulch is very toxic to dogs. We use mulch in our front and side yards, but we use pine straw in our back yard, for this reason. Here's an explanatory...
Isn't day care wonderful? Luckily, everyone at daycare loves Lido, even though he's "very active," lol!
Good news! The pathology report came back, and Lido had an encapsulated hematoma, which is what my vet thought it was. Apparently, it was a VERY nasty carpenter bee sting, which Lido's body reacted...
How fun! Lido won't even swim, lol.
Congratulations and I hope you have a lot of fun with it!
My puppy, Lido, is also a lightning speed eater! Which slow feeder have you tried? I rotate Lido through different ones, changing them out daily, so that he doesn't get too used to the same one...
I'm so sorry for your loss.
I feel your frustration. We tried to go that route, too, and finally ended up getting Lido from a good breeder in our area (Georgia).
I hope your fur baby feels better soon!
Positive vibes heading your way!
I was thinking the same thing - way too many distractions outside for a puppy new to training! Lido wasn't a barker during puppy classes, but he did whine when he had to attend too long - out of...
I too went on the search for a grain inclusive kibble for my puppy, Lido. Unfortunately, Royal Canin gave him massive eye boogers and lots of head shaking from itchy ears. Poops were good on it. ...
Check out the Blue Ridge, GA area. We've rented cabins with our kids in that area before from VRBO. There are a lot of wineries, cute shops, apple houses/orchards, and restaurants in the area.

Glad Stormy (and you!) survived the confinement! Lido will hopefully be cleared this coming Monday, fingers crossed! His sutures dissolve, so I don't have to return to the vet, as long as...
Lido, the largest in his litter, was 15.7 lb. at 8 weeks, 38 pounds at 4 months, 55.8 pounds at 6 months, and 75 pounds at 9 months. His mom, an American lab, is 63 pounds. His dad, an English lab,...
And I thought my family was different... My middle sister has made life a bit interesting for us. We've thought she's been bi-polar for years (I'll spare you the details), and now, we're finding...
So handsome!
We were all about waiting to get Lido neutered after one year, BUT... He's harassing the little dogs at home (just very beasty and domineering, nothing sexual) and has been suspended from day care,...
So handsome!
Thank you! I hope it works, as well! I wish there was a local store near me that carries it. I'd have to drive an hour or so into downtown Atlanta to get it - ugh. That's why I ordered it off...
Sending mojo for Hanson!
I've sent several dogs to the Rainbow Bridge over the years, and yes, they've all told me when it's time. However, you have to be receptive to their wishes. We had a boxer, Duke, several years ago...
I agree with Jollymolly. Cook turkey breast for treats and see if that helps. Yes, dogs can be sensitive to chicken - very common. I empathize with you dealing with runny poops. Lido gets runny...
