Tobey finishes very quickly. Cassie its a project. So finicky. And if i walk away Tobey dive bombs Cassie's unfinished food.
So sorry to hear. Glad he went peacefully.
Thanks, he is really spectacular. All credit to Grampian Labs in Rhode Island.
Still around. Lurking mostly these days. Dogs are great so less need to consult the wisdom of the Board....Did almost lose Cassie in December, but pulled her through. Thats Tobey below....
Sorry were a bit late, Cassie and Tobey hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas!
So so sorry to hear. My heart is with you...
Some great advice above. I agree that fetch is a double edged sword. It does exercise them but definitely ramps them up. Learned that with Cassie. There is NO end once you start. Its better to...
Struggling with this decision. Back in the day, word was to neuter at 6 months. Talking 15 years ago. Now the research speaks to health benefits for not neutering males at all. that said we are...
Every year I'm optimistic and plant a vegetable garden. And every year I struggle with the groundhogs. I put out at least three 'have a heart' traps in the hopes of catching them. I read somewhere...
We feel your pain. I got a bit smug with Tobey as he was a really mellow and well behaved puppy. Until this month. He's 6 months old and really getting obnoxious at times. Seems to forget a lot...
Late to the discussion but wanted to share my experience. Our first Lab Rosie had a slab fracture of the premolar from a hard sterilzed bone. Our vet back then said to take it out and we did. no...
Her being in pain was my first thought although there was no other indication. Ate well that am, walking fine, slept fine last night. Was in for a full exam a couple of months ago, nothing noted. ...
Oh Im so sorry she passed but totally understand the sense of completeness when they 'return'. Rosie and Oscar were in the living room bookcase, but just moved them out to their own trees in a...
Can you move her rear leg without issue? just touch sensitive over the hip joint itself? You can get a hip 'pointer' if you bang the bone and it willl be very sore but the joint could be fine and...
Glad Sassy is better, thankfully they are so durable. But i agree, all mine also seem to think they're invincible and do the craziest things...
you're not being terribly specific. Where is she sensitive? hind leg? tail, butt? just to touch or with movement? all the time? could be lots of things, or nothing.
So sorry for your loss.
Im so sorry to hear, I know how difficult this is.
I know were not here much these days, but still remember and appreciate all the help and advise when Cassie was a pup. We would like to introduce Grampian's Santa's Little Helper "Tobey". Born...
We never take the dogs anywhere without our 'dog bag'. contains their leashes, collars (they're usually without them), tags, vaccination papers, full medical as above, a ball (very helpful to get...
a good friend has one. very nice dog, but they're stubborn and scent animals. this little guy goes off on a scent and is gone. very fast for their size. minimal recall. not my cup of tea.
Im...
Beautiful dog, best of luck!
Don't know about chewing nails but chewing paws is often, i've heard, a sign of allergy. usually food allergy. are you on grain free? might try that. easy to do.
