I was so sad to read this, Barry. Please know that you and Bruce are in my thoughts.

A few months ago, Roxy was licking and biting her feet excessively and obsessively too, and developed lick granulomas. The worst ones were on her front feet. The regular vets didn't seem concerned...
I spoke to her a few minutes ago. She said she called her vet's office, and they said she could apply Frontline immediately after removing the collar.
I was so sorry to read this. You and Cookie are in my thoughts, and I wish Cookie a speedy recovery.
It's called Canine Influenza H3N8 vaccine. There should be 2 shots, the first then a booster a few weeks later. After that, just one shot per year.
No, this is different than kennel cough. Roxy has been vaccinated for canine influenza. My vet always recommends it. They can still get it, of course, but they say the vaccine makes the symptoms less...
If I were in that situation, I would tell him I will see him in court. Are all the vet bills in your name or both names? If they're in your name, chances are the judge will see them as your dogs,...
"I just love to go potty in the rain"
"Please brush my teeth, then empty my anal glands for me"
"Treats? Nah, I'm not hungry"
"No, I don't want you to hold and cuddle me like I am a tiny princess"
Congrats! I wish I could bring Roxy to work with me!
I think Roxy would either be a model, professional toy destroyer, or something that would require a lot of talking. She's quite a talker.
Great work and congrats to you both.
Wonderful photos. Looks like the dogs had a great time.
Happy birthday, Maxx!
Just wanted to give an update. We got the stitches out this afternoon (finally!) and I talked to the owners of the pit bull tonight. They saw me in the yard and came over to my fence to talk, so that...
You are both in my thoughts.
Thanks everyone. I haven't given them the vet bills yet, because there's one more to go, which is stitch removal. I talked to my landlord today and she said the pit bull's owner asked how Roxy was....
Drain tube is OUT! Stitches will come out next week.
I went with Trupanion and I use it all the time. When I was researching insurance, right after Roxy was born, I found that Trupanion covered more than the others. I have called Trupanion's customer...
Thanks for the well wishes. I got Roxy home, but she's groggy from the sedation and whining. Poor puppykid. I hope that she's not traumatized from this, as well. She always thought all dogs were...
Can't be a girl thing. All of my girls have always gotten out of the water to use the bathroom, then got back in the water when they were done!
So sorry to hear this. My condolences. You are in my thoughts. :image019: R.I.P. Cosmo.
Good job, boys! I can't wait to ditch the crate too! Not being able to find Charlie reminded me of the time I couldn't find Pixie after work. She was never crated, but always greeted me at the door....
I would say you need to take him to the vet. Why wait? My girl has vomiting episodes every few months (cause unknown). My rule of thumb for her is if she vomits up her food more than once, I stop...
Oh, come on, Daisy is still a baby. You've got a while yet (3 more years? jk) before she matures. :)
Roxy is naughty in the evenings too, despite our walks, backyard play, training, and everything...
Sorry to hear that. My mom had a scare like that a few years ago, but the biopsy showed it was not cancer, thankfully. On the other hand, my friend's mom has had breast cancer twice and beat it both...
