It should really just resolve without too much intervention. It will look angry, but will start looking better once the sutures start to dissolve and pieces will eventually spit out of the open...

Looks like his skin doesn't like the sutures. I wouldn't be surprised if a little suture material started poking through those inflamed areas. Looking forward to hearing what the vet has to say!
Cute. It was funny that the dog was normally sedentary. I guess it was just her day to show them what she had.
Maybe it's just too much time in the crate. From what I'm reading, she is in there during the day while you are at work (since it is so cold) and then again at night. I'm not sure how much gap...
Maybe an epidermal inclusion cyst. We see some of those in the OR. They seem to be self-limited for the most part. They may get inflamed, but most patients want them off because they are unsightly....
Great to hear!
So cute!

I don't believe in neutering to correct what I see as behavioral and oversight problems. I know that he steals right in front of you, and I know that is frustrating. Believe me, I know from...
I would adjust his portions according to proper body condition, maybe leaning very slightly on the plump side as he grows. I wouldn't want to see ribs, but I would want to be able to feel them. ...
I usually bribe with a cookie when I am in a hurry and want to get back in. He always, always comes for a cookie. "Do you want a cookie? Inside!" And he comes like a bolt of lightning.
When...
You may want to check with your breeder about that. I know I'm on contract not to neuter Theo before 18 months.

Theo is one of those puppies that would get overstimulated or tired and turn into a holy terror. He has never has the ability to just go lie down and sleep somewhere in the house. He needs...
That really stinks. If you have Apple Care, they will replace the phone for $79.
Congrats!
I'm not sure how they can train a dog to meet his needs, but I think the trainers are used to working with different situations to meet varying needs.
My breeder donated a puppy to be trained as a...
What a nice dude you are!

Sometimes overfeeding can cause soft stools. Theo was very sensitive to that as a younger puppy. Even a 1/4c more than he needed would go right through him.
Amazing! So glad to see that he's doing so well.
Thank God. I was pretty worried after the video. So happy that he has made a turn in the right direction. I cannot imagine how uncomfortable his body must feel.
Oh, no! Poor Cookie. Hope he makes as speedy a recovery as possible.
Here's what Theo did with his baby pool... Dragged it off the patio and into the yard, emptied it, and ran around the yard with it. He does still try to carry it up the steps and into the house. I've...
I know you need to vent and it sounds like Barley is giving (and has always given) you a run for your money.
Theo is an innovator like Barley and will find his own fun. I can't give him a chance....
Welcome to Ohio! If you like to hike, John Bryan State Park in Yellow Springs and Hocking Hills are both great places to go with your dogs.
